200% hyperbole!
most of you who have looked at my website atleast once would have seen that little bar at the top with a text marquee; inside that text marquee being a randomized splash text. well, some if not most of those splash texts that i put in a neat little json file for it have references. so, here is a list of EVERY motive/reference for every splash text. here goes nothing:

"Bush hid the facts" fills that criteria, and so is replaced."Do you like my 26.3 duodecillion cookies? I made them all myself!" is a reference to Cookie Clicker, primarily with the buildings that you can buy to help you make more cookies, and the colossal amount of cookies you can actually make."Relativistic jet!" is a reference to blazars and their jets of matter which go close enough to the speed of light that effects of special relativity can actually be observed."Blazar or blazer?" is a reference to the fact that both words sound similar and can be mistaken."Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" punchline is that it is quite a long word."Have you ever used the ARPANET?" is referencing the ARPANET which was basically the internet before the internet."Do you prefer IRC or MSN?" one of my own splash texts; IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and was used (still is used!) for chatting in the early eras of the internet, and MSN (Messenger) was Microsoft's own chat platform."5500 degrees Celsius CPU temperatures!" referential towards a meme where somebody's CPU was WAY warmer than it actually was."1000 beats later..." is a reference to internet time/.beat time, where the day is divided into 1000 beats."Telnet, FTP, Gopher..." references internet protocols. Telnet, FTP, and Gopher can all be used to transfer data from one place to another."Take back the web!!!" one of my homemade splash texts; usually spread around in personal site communities (like neocities)."52!" references the amount of permutations (different ways) a standard deck of 52 cards can be in."170!" is referencing how 170 factorial (the exclamation mark) is the highest number that a regular calculator can display, beyond which infinity or 'math error' is displayed."TREE(3)." is a reference to the VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY large number that is TREE(3)."NULL OUROBOROS." is both a reference to ULTRAKILL and its actual meaning: "death without life"."Keeps going for infinity!" one of my own, can be linked to the birth of the internet/the ephemerality of computers if you want to stretch that far."Sustainable and replenishable!" references the meaning of sustainabilty: infinitely replenishable and usable; the Sun is an example of this."Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Refuse, Recycle, and Rethink." references the 6R's in engineering."What is your favourite? 120-cell or hecatonicosachoron?" punchline is that they are both the same shape, just one name is much more complicated than the other."It's like the Absolute Cold out here!" brrrrr"So, how many factorials would you like with that?
