Polar nights and why they are cool as hell

So recently I discovered these things called polar nights which are periods of the year which leave whatever part of the world you are living in, in pretty much total darkness. Well, I guess they only occur in places like Norway and really only anywhere scandinavian (including Alaska) because they are near the poles but yeah. Anyway, this darkness is because the sun doesn't rise high enough in the horizon to actually light the sky up. This also causes polar twilights to happen, where its pretty much just like astronomical twilight for the entire time - true polar nights don't usually occur until later on.

This sounds really cool right? I mean except for the entire living in a really cold country part (unless you like that kinda cold). Some of you reading this have to love what nighttime looks like this much right?? That's why polar nights are cool as hell. Who wouldn't want pure nighttime with all of the neon lights and stuff??? I mean, that's ignoring how average life would actually be more difficult (and how polar nights can cause seasonal depression and other things like that) but like come on man!!! Why can't there be anywhere where it's basically always night. I know that's kinda impossible with how the earth and its rotations and shit works but yeah. I wish there could be a place where its just like nautical twilight (dark), astronomical twilight (darker), or just plain night (really dark) it would be so cool. I mean I guess they only last for like a month at shortest but you know. That's better than nothing!!!

Some good places for polar nights are at the north to Very north of Norway and northwest Russia (maybe some other countries too AND Svalbard but that's technically in Norway): Tromsø is a good example of this but is also very cold. Not very populated too but you know. The North Pole is also a very good place (5 month long polar nights and days) but good luck getting there lol.
