Welcome to tha personal page of starshift!!! A little page to fully express what I like, do not like, my interests and whatever else. So...
GAMES
- Splatoon is currently a big one for me - especially with the upcoming Speed vs. Power vs. Tactics splatfest (TEAM SPEED SWEEP!!!)
- The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (repentance dlc) is also a really fun game when you get completely broken builds
- VirtuaVerse is a pretty good game as well (especially because MBR's music)
- Halo 3 is pretty fun (Master Chief Collection), especially in Big Team Battles
- UT99 and UT2004 - really chaotic games where basically anything can happen at any time
- Minecraft is also fun when you are just relaxing while building a comfortable little house instead of pvp or skyblock or whatever else - part of why I think the legacy console editions (esp. X360/PS3) are better
MUSIC
- Splatoon music!!! My favourite splatoon song right now is Fly Octo Fly! then probably Ebb and Flow, Acid Hues, Rainbow Color Inkantation, etc.
- MBR (MASTER BOOT RECORD) has been a band that I have liked for a long time. MBR's music takes elements from the 90s (I think) like DOS stuff.
- Individual UT99 tracks like Foregone Destruction and Skyward Fire are great too!
Yeah my playlist is kinda small (and niche depending on how you look at it)... Anyway...
MOVIES
- Project Hail Mary is the most recent movie I have watched, and a very beautiful one at that. I read the book too, and it's even better than the movie!
- The Martian is also a great movie that stays true to the book.
Both movies also remove some bits because of time constraints, but they are still really cool! I mean, I wouldn't mind watching like 4 hour editions of both PHM and The Martian!!!
- Interstellar was also a very good movie because of its reliance on da plot. A majority of what the characters say either get more important towards the end of the movie, or are already really important to begin with. I like!!!
INTERESTS
- Deep space has been my special interest for a looooooooooong while now. I like learning a lot about it.
- If you couldn't already tell, a really big one is the culture/tech in the late 90s/early 2000s - like 3dfx, ATI, UT99, Halo, other massive releases, etc.
- The skeuomorphic era of design is also kinda a big interest of mine since it shows the point where the most people where getting used to the internet (hence the resemblance to real life objects).
- Windows 7/Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) - monumental releases for Microsoft and Apple (in 2009).
